Superintendent - Navy Construction
The Superintendent will lead on‑site construction operations for a highly secure Navy SCIF renovation project in Toms River, NJ. This role requires deep federal and DOD construction experience and will oversee daily field execution, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination on complex government projects.

Description
- Site Supervision: Act as the on‑site Superintendent for a $50M Navy contract, beginning with a $6M SCIF renovation
- Strict Standards: Ensure construction activities meet DOD, Navy, SCIF, and federal compliance standards
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA 30, EM 385‑1‑1, and site safety requirements
- Quality Control: Coordinate inspections, quality control, and government reporting
- Team Leadership: Oversee renovation, new construction, site development, and excavation scopes
- Documentation: Maintain daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, and documentation
Profile
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on federal construction projects, SCIF experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading projects valued between $500K and $15M
- Strong understanding of general construction, renovations, and occupied facilities
- Occupied hospital renovation experience highly preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher if required)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a clean background (no felony or misdemeanor convictions)
