Salary Range: $78000 - $123000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure control measures are effective.
• Lead incident investigations determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors.
• Manage the facility's emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA EPA and other federal state and local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations.
• Strong leadership communication and training skills with the ability to influence a safety-first culture.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM) highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience implementing or auditing ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms and data analytics for trend identification.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience for process improvement in EHS.
• Multi-site EHS management experience within a manufacturing organization.
