Job Title: Architect – Multifamily Residential Projects

Location: Northern New Jersey

Salary Range: $80,000 – $95000 (commensurate with experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time Onsite in Office- NO remote nor NO hybrid offered.

Overview:

Our client, a well-established multifamily residential real estate developer based in Northern New Jersey, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architect to join their in-house team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, design, and documentation of ground-up and renovation projects within their residential portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of multifamily residential buildings, from concept through construction documents.
• Draft architectural plans and elevations using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp.
• Assist with code reviews, zoning analysis, and permit submissions.
• Collaborate with internal project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is carried through all phases of construction.
• Participate in design meetings and site visits to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field required.
• 2–5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in residential or multifamily projects.
• Must have proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
