Lead Teacher for a Pre-K 3 & 4 class. The responsibilities include:
- Prepare lesson plans and prepare materials for class activities.
- Instruct students individually and/or in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Assess needs of class participants and modifies class content or teaching methods to meet those needs.
- Reinforce set rules for student behavior.
- Observe and evaluate student performance, behavior or social development.
- Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress.
Rainbow Montessori School has been teaching children in the Madison area for over 40 years. We are a blend of pure Montessori and traditional nursery school. The school provides a loving, caring atmosphere for children ages 2.5 to Kindergarten. We welcome all families and celebrate diversity. After safety, our first priority is that the children have fun while developing a life-long love of learning.
