Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a diligent and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely application of cash receipts against customer accounts and providing real-time analysis of account positions. You will also manage customer orders and assist with credit issue resolutions, contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the company. Responsibilities + Promptly apply cash receipts against customer accounts to enable real-time analysis. + Monitor domestic and foreign customer orders and assist supervisors with credit issue resolutions. + Create and manage Aging Reports, monitor balances, and proactively arrange collections. + Generate monthly Accounts Receivable summary reports and assist with sales reporting and trend analysis. + Generate credit memos and troubleshoot open return authorizations. + Update and maintain customers' financial profile information and document customer issues as they occur. + Manage the credit application process. Essential Skills + Customer service expertise. + Proficiency in data entry. + Experience with accounts receivable processes. + Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and SAP systems. + Experience in the manufacturing industry. + At least 2 years of full-cycle accounts receivable experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in vendor and customer service, with international exposure being advantageous. + Expertise in AR monthly reporting. + Experience in AR/Collections within the manufacturing, flavors & fragrances, or food & beverage industries. Work Environment The position is based in Carteret, requiring on-site presence five days a week from 8 am to 5 pm. The team consists of seven accounting/finance professionals. Employees are entitled to two free 15-minute breaks and a mandatory 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carteret, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
