Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager
Job Description:
This is a senior-level hybrid role that combines strategic project leadership with hands-on business analysis, specifically within the property and casualty insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, technically literate professional who can lead digital product initiatives while engaging with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital product builds, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines and compliance standards.
Gather, document, and validate complex business and technical requirements across underwriting, operations, and IT.
Manage project plans, risks, and communications, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate collaboration between business leaders, developers, QA and external vendors or carriers.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, lead workshops, and drive consensus on priorities and scope.
Translate business needs into actionable user stories, process flows and technical documentation.
Oversee UAT planning, execution and defect resolution.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in a combined PM/BA role with a strong background in property and casualty insurance (carrier, MGA or broker)
Proven success leading complex digital initiatives, especially in underwriting, policy administration or self-service platforms
Strong communication and negotiation skills, including experience engaging with executive stakeholders and external partners
Technically fluent — understands digital platforms, authentication flows, APIs and system integrations
Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing ambiguity in fast-paced environments
Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Project and Excel
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55 to $65 per hour.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
