Dispatcher Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Assign and adjust driver schedules, routes, and operational updates.
• Gather information from callers, prioritize service needs, and relay details to drivers and supervisors.
• Create and manage work orders in the TMS, including PODs, TIRs, and related documentation.
• Monitor driver activity, track port return free time, and maintain accurate service and inventory records.
• Collaborate closely with the Logistics Manager and support additional operational tasks as needed.

Dispatcher Qualifications:

• Import and port system knowledge preferred.
• Understanding of DOT regulations and driver compliance is a plus.
• Strong time?management skills and high attention to detail.
• Timely and professional communication, especially through email.
• Ability to give clear instructions and relay information in a fast?paced environment.
• Strong clerical and organizational skills for managing schedules, routes, and documentation.
• Able to multitask while handling calls, coordinating drivers, and completing data entry.
• Proficient with computers, including databases, email, GPS/scheduling software, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
