About the Role:

As a ShopRite Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their groceries in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be to transport goods from our store to customers' homes, providing a high level of customer service throughout the delivery process. You will be expected to navigate the local area effectively, ensuring that deliveries are made on schedule while adhering to all safety regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our delivery service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
• Familiarity with the Hoboken area and its neighborhoods.
• Basic knowledge of grocery products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload groceries and other items for delivery.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and report any issues to management.
