Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, ensuring high food quality and consistency, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a safe, clean, and cost-effective kitchen environment. Creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of food preparation are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations

• Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance

• Manage food cost while minimizing waste

• Collaborate with restaurant management on new menu items and event catering

• Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a leadership role in a commercial kitchen

• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Culinary school degree or equivalent experience preferred.
