What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Director to lead and grow relationships with key enterprise accounts. This role focuses on aligning customer objectives with organizational strategies, driving renewals and revenue growth, and delivering solutions that support long-term business success.

Who You Are

You are a strategic and solutions-oriented sales leader with strong business acumen and executive presence. You build trusted relationships, communicate effectively, and thrive in complex customer environments. You understand how to identify customer challenges, develop impactful solutions, and close large, strategic deals. You are collaborative, results-driven, and comfortable working across cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage strategic customer accounts and develop plans to retain and grow business relationships.
  • Create and execute account strategies aligned with customer and organizational objectives.
  • Lead regular account reviews to maintain engagement, relevance, and measurable impact.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across assigned customer organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer relationships and issue resolution.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver solutions that support customer business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for solution enhancements and industry adoption initiatives.
  • Support large sales opportunities, including negotiations and commercial agreements.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to billing, service, operational changes, and acquisitions.
  • Advocate for standards adoption and strategic initiatives within key industries.

This role operates in a hybrid work environment and requires strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years of experience in solution-based or global sales roles.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting industries such as retail, consumer goods, healthcare, foodservice, marketplaces, or related sectors.
  • Strong executive communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and closing large enterprise sales opportunities.
  • Strategic account management expertise with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations and business process improvement.
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Experience using a consultative and solutions-oriented sales approach.
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman Strategic Selling methodology preferred.
