Associate Marketplace Manager eCommerce (Americas Packs)

What will you do

A day in the life of an Associate Marketplace Manager on the Americas Eastpak JanSport and Kipling Commercial Team looks a little like this.

The Associate Marketplace Manager will be working on our Americas eCommerce team. The position is responsible for helping drive revenue in existing and new marketplace channels including Amazon. This position will require you to work closely with key marketplace accounts and third party agencies to achieve channel sales goals and metrics develop and implement marketplace initiatives and identify new opportunities.

Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Instrumental in managing and reporting marketplace plans and performance.
• Identifying channel and assortment optimization opportunities in collaboration with internal partners and external agencies. These would include but not be limited to ecommerce buying and planning teams merchandising and marketing as well as marketing agencies and the 3rd party marketplace management agency.
• Oversee cross-functional team and key stakeholders to ensure marketplace and Amazon store listings and A content is up to date and completed on-time.
• Ensure accuracy of product pricing and content.
• Assist with researching developing and launching new marketplace channels.
• Interact directly and collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate assortment by marketplace channel.
• Monitor competition and provide insights and actions to grow market share.
• Review customer feedback and marketplace health reporting ensuring all issues are identified and addressed.

What do you need to succeed

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role there are foundation skills youll need to succeed and excel. Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 2 years of experience in managing a successful Amazon/Marketplace e-commerce business.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Proficiency with (2 years) Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central including FBA and strong knowledge of SLAs and KPIs of the platform.
• Strong knowledge of Amazons flywheel business model.
• Experience with Walmart Target and similar marketplaces.
• Experience with Amazon advertising and campaign management.
• Proven track record of managing external agencies to deliver on key initiatives to drive overall business objectives.
• Excellent PC skills and ability to efficiently use basic software and platforms (Microsoft Office specifically Excel including but not limited to pivot tables and working with large data sets).
• Passion for retail e-commerce analytics and intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task extremely organized with attention to detail.
• High level of initiative (self-motivation) to take on projects independently.
• Retail e-commerce experience.
• Location requirement: This position is hybrid with the expectation to be in the Jersey City New Jersey office 3 days per week.
