Machine Operator

Food Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Packaging Machine Operators to Start ASAP on 1st and 2nd Shift

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Food manufacturing experience preferred or pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or beverage experience.

Location: Elmwood Park, NJ

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00/hour ; Overtime: $33.00 - $36.00/hour

1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm

2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will assist in operating and setting up production machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines automated packaging machines
• Perform changeovers, set ups, troubleshooting, and calibrating machines
• Following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Adjusting machine speed and temperature as needed
• Document information before and after shift
• Labeling and packaging equipment
• Transport completed rolls
• Abide by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocol in food manufacturing environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Food manufacturing experience
• Machine operating experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
