We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sewer Team Operator / Pipe Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating sewer installation equipment and performing essential pipe installation tasks on sewer systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Sewer Pipe Installation: Install and repair sewer pipes, manholes, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and tools such as trenchers, backhoes, and pipe cutters to lay and install sewer lines.
• Excavation and Digging: Perform excavation work using manual and mechanical means to create trenches for pipe installation.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct inspections on sewer systems, ensuring proper installation and resolving any issues or malfunctions.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and engineers to achieve installation goals and adhere to timelines.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and ensure that work areas are properly marked, secured, and meet safety regulations.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with sewer systems or equipment and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs performed.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sewer system installation, pipe laying, or construction-related fields.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in operating sewer installation machinery and hand tools.
  • Knowledge of local sewer codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in outdoor conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Certification (preferred): Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, pipe installation, CDL) are a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in measurements, alignment, and pipe placement to prevent future system issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in trenching, backfilling, and operating relevant construction equipment.
• Familiarity with stormwater systems and other types of underground utilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
