Contract Specialist

Job Description

Contract Specialist is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with Suppliers, while ensuring all contracts adhere to applicable healthcare regulations and internal policies.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Prepares redlines, negotiates, and obtains signatures on each supplier contract assigned to team member.
• Collaborates cross-functionally between departments and interfaces with internal business owners, as needed.
• Partners with fellow Contract Specialist(s) to draft new and maintain existing list of Master Agreements with Suppliers.
• Manages a workload of Capital Requisitions alongside daily tasks.
• Reviews Hold Harmless Agreements or Product Evaluations, as needed, from the Clinical Consultants for Value Analysis Committees.
• Assists in efforts to improve efficiency in the review process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree highly preferred
* Paralegal certification highly preferred

• * Extensive contracts experience
