OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Edison, NJ by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work as an OTR solo Dry Van driver based in Edison, NJ with HMD, moving freight across the country on steady long-haul lanes. You’ll run weekly averages near 2,500 miles in modern tractors under three years old equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleepers, backed by in-house maintenance.

Primary responsibilities:

• Safely operate assigned dry van equipment on interstate routes.
• Complete accurate logs, pre/post-trip inspections, and cargo checks.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules and maintain communication.

Requirements & compensation:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
• Mileage pay starts at 65 CPM with safety, inspection and referral bonuses; biweekly home time and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).
