Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols for a controlled location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and report security-related issues that may impact operations or property.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A state, county, and/or city-issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
