Opportunity Overview:

A well-established New Jersey hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment starting in January, with the opportunity to extend. This position offers a predictable daytime schedule , manageable case volume, and no call responsibilities .

Schedule & Coverage:

• 4 days per week
• 10-hour daytime shifts
• Hours: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed hours
• No overnight call

Clinical Scope:

• Community-based anesthesia practice
• Case mix includes:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Pediatric Dental
• No trauma
• No cardiac or neuro cases
  • Average volume: <150 cases per month

Practice Environment

• Physician-only anesthesia model
• No CRNAs
• Solo attending coverage
• Supportive hospital staff
• Modern OR environment

Technology:

• EPIC EMR

Requirements:

• Board Certified Anesthesiologist
• Active or eligible for New Jersey licensure
• Ability to start in January
