Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced RN for our SDS at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• RN Degree
• NJ RN License
• At least one year Current SDS or Critical Care experience

• BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• PALS within 6 months
• BSN

Scheduling Requirements :

Full Time Day- 40 hours

On Call required

Essential Functions:

• Cares for our Pre Op patients and Moderate Sedation patients
• Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
• Ongoing communication & education with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care
• Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
