Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Contract Assignment

Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601

Duration: 13 Weeks

Category: Travel / Contract

Schedule: 36 hours per week | 3x12-hour shifts | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend & holidays as required

Pay Rate: Local: $1,552.50 – $1,725 weekly | Travel: $2,055 weekly

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapist  for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hackensack, NJ.

• Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, including education, treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and patient care for cardiopulmonary conditions.

• Assist with intubation procedures and perform ventilator set-up and management.

• Assess patient needs, conduct testing, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.

• Deliver and document patient/caregiver education as appropriate.

• Build strong rapport with patients, families, and team members to support patient-centered care.

• Float as needed to adult ICU areas, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care floors.

• Adhere to organizational standards, competencies, and safety protocols.

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a licensed RRT.

• At least 1 year of ICU experience.

• Proven experience with ventilator management.

• Ability to float across multiple adult care units.

• Strong adaptability, accountability, and teamwork skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

• Active New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist license (no temporary licenses).

• Active New Jersey Respiratory Care license.

• BLS (AHA).

• ACLS.

• PALS.
