We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and help create quality, user-focused content for the Serialization and brand protection products for Systech. Working closely with other Technical Writers, Engineers, and PMs, you will author content, advocate for and prioritize users’ needs, and help define, refine, and execute on plans for the content across products and/or strategic initiatives.

Working closely with other Technical Writers, Engineers, and PMs, you will author content, advocate for and prioritize users’ needs, and help define, refine, and execute on plans for the content across products and/or strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Manage complex documentation projects and prioritize requests while working closely with partner teams
• Communicate effectively, establish work processes and strategies, organize work groups, manage expectations, and report status across teams
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture


Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Experience with content management system for professional document creation
• Experience in creating effective In-App contextual documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Pay Range: $117,798.00 - $135,000.00 [annually]

[Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.]
