Join a Leading Surgical Team at Mountainside Medical Center - Thoracic Surgeon Opportunity

Mountainside Medical Center, a proud member of Hackensack Meridian Health and Ardent Health Services, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join our dynamic and collaborative surgical team.

Position Highlights

• Work within a comprehensive, multi-specialty team, including
• pulmonology, oncology, and critical care
• Integrated on-site lab, imaging services, and full hospital access
• Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice
• Monday–Friday clinic schedule with rotating weekend coverage (1 weekend/month)
• Perform a wide spectrum of thoracic procedures, including Lobectomy, pneumonectomy, wedge resection, Esophagectomy, achalasia surgery, Surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome and lung infections
• Utilize minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical platforms
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to optimize outcomes
• Engage in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts
• Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
• Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure, including CDS and DEA
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical and surgical care
• Experience in robotic and minimally invasive techniques highly preferred
• New graduates and experienced surgeons are encouraged to apply

Salary starting at $554,668
