Radar Systems Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in one or more of the following
- systems engineering
- software/system analysis
- requirements development
- verification & validation
- Trade studies
- modeling & simulation
- integration & test
- High proficiency in:
- C++(or another object oriented language)
- MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and test automation
- Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for task automation and CI/CD tooling.
- Perform functional and radar performance analysis, requirements allocation, algorithm development, and/or interface definition to convert customer defined radar requirements into detailed software specifications.
- Develop high fidelity models and run simulations to evaluate radar system performance
- Provide individual contributor effort for the system design, and test for the RCP SCI and support agile systems engineering process including scrum meetings and sprint planning.
- Execute system verification activities, integration and test, and provide support for certification and testing milestones.
- Experience with DOORs, git, Confluence Tool Suite
- Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; able to produce clear technical documentation and deliver concise briefings.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
