LSW/LAC Job Description
New Harmony BH, LLC of New Jersey is a dually licensed outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment center licensed with the NJ Department of Human Services
supporting individual, family, and group work by providing intensive outpatient, and traditional outpatient services.
We are looking for full-time Licensed Associate Counselors (LAC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW) to join a diverse practice and work with an experienced multidisciplinary team
and Licensed Mental Health Therapists.
Responsibilities:
Conduct new client intakes
Evaluate individual client needs, assess and initiate appropriate treatment and services
Maintain full caseload of kept weekly appointments
Analyze and evaluate progress and results of service/treatment program
Collaborate with clients to establish, continue, or change goals based on regular
assessment of success in meeting those goals
Facilitate group therapies
Record case summaries, providing all necessary progress notes, written assessments, and
other required paperwork in a timely manner
Communicate progress/concerns regarding client with Clinical Supervisor and program
Psychiatrist, as necessary
Utilize agency and community resources to perform related tasks necessary to
client/supports goals and needs
Requirements:
Must be licensed to practice in the state of NJ
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Excellent interpersonal personnel and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of the clinical team
