Financial Office Coordinator Location Livingston, NJ :

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring smooth vendor relationships, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

Timekeeping and Payroll: Collaborate with Field managers to ensure accurate input of weekly hours and rates; process employee new hires and terminations; coordinate employee deductions.

Accounts Receivable: generate invoices; record payments; adhere to billing schedule and manage the aging.

Accounts Payable: process invoices ; generate invoice payments; adhere to recurring payment schedule; manage aging including financial accruals.

General accounting ; maintain system managed basic accounting of Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including financial accruals.

Weekly update and reporting of payroll actual vs budget.

Ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a finance clerk or in a similar role within a financial department including timekeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal Spanish is a plus. Ability to read, write and interpet instructional documents such as reports and procedural manuals.
  • Mathematical skills: must have average mathematical skills including ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
  • Reasoning ability: must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Additional skills: basic general accounting and web based financial platform skills. Excel skills a must.
