Embedded Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Embedded Architect for a Contract with a client in Basking Ridge, NJ. The ideal candidate excels in architecting event‑driven, cloud‑native platforms using Kubernetes, Kafka, and modern languages to handle high‑volume data processing aligned with 3GPP standards.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Embedded Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and lead end‑to‑end embedded and cloud‑native architecture solutions for high‑scale telecom and networking platforms.

• Architect and implement event‑driven and streaming systems using Kafka and Kubernetes to handle high‑volume, low‑latency data processing.

• Drive hands‑on development across Java, Python, and Golang, ensuring performance, reliability, and secure system design.

• Apply 3GPP standards and telecom protocols in solution design, with exposure to data mediation and network security concepts.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture.

• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design decisions, testing strategies, and production readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 15+ years of hands‑on experience in embedded systems, software development, architecture, and design.

• Prior development or solution architecture experience with telecom/networking leaders.

• Strong expertise in cloud‑native and event‑driven architectures, including Kubernetes, Kafka, and high‑volume data processing aligned with 3GPP standards.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
