Part Time Administrative Assistant (City Crossing Apartments)
: WinnCompanies is looking for an agile and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at City Crossing Apartments, a 131-unit residential community located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will assist with the daily functions of the office and special projects. Please note that the pay range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. This is a part-time position, which will be working 30 hours per week: this will be eligible for all of the same benefits as regular full-time employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide office support, including: maintaining files, ordering office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and facilitating overnight shipping.
- Assist with department operations, including: creating department check requests, filing paid invoices, preparing organizational charts and presentations, booking meetings, and setting up conference rooms.
- Provide back-up support for the receptionist.
- Keep the property management team updated on existing or potential problems.
- Complete special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Prior experience with RealPage/OneSite property management software.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.
- Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.
Preferences
- Prior experience in the property management industry.
- Prior experience working at HUD properties.
