Hiring Fire Sprinkler Foreman ASAP!

Job Description

Monday to Friday (7am-3:30pm) with OT available

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. This role involves performing onsite troubleshooting and repairs of fire sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and interpreting and applying NFPA 25 codes during testing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable completing installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems.
• Identify and resolve code issues and non-conformance issues.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports.
• Effectively communicate to explain the work being done and any necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance as well as emergency service calls.
• Handle and prepare documentation.

Essential Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience with servicing and repair of fire protection sprinkler systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, paired with experienced technicians.
• Ability to discern deficiencies in the system(s) being serviced.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Massachusetts Sprinkler Fitter License
• High School/Vocational training is a plus.
• Working knowledge of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems.
• Backflow test and repair certification is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes new construction projects throughout MA, with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30pm pm and a one-hour lunch break. Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $100000.00/yr.
