**Immediately hiring several Production Workers in Millville, NJ** We're seeking a Production Worker for a premier building supplies manufacturing company in the Millville NJ area. **This is a Contract to Hire opportunity and we're hiring immediately! This individual will assist in the manufacturing, assembly and preparation of building materials and components. You will work under immediate supervision and rely on specific directions and instructions. This role involves performing all facets of assembly for the framing of trusses, walls, and flooring, using tools such as hammers, tape measures, hand and power tools, nails, and hangers. **Responsibilities** + Assemble trusses, walls, and flooring using hand and power tools. + Attach and hammer/nail hangers to wood according to specifications. + Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper dimensions and hanger placement. + Work in various areas and departments to complete assemblies. + Collaborate with others on the production line or in designated areas to complete assembly stages. + Meet production goals and maintain a steady workflow. + Adhere to all safety rules and regulations. + Maintain a safe and clean work area, disposing of trash as necessary. **Skills** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to operate various machinery including saws and bandsaws. + Experience in assembling trusses, walls, and flooring. + Possession of a 28oz or heavier hammer with a smooth surface and a 25 ft tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Reliability and a good attitude are essential. + Willingness to learn and ability to train on the job. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values growth and development, offering pay increases and advancement opportunities. You will work around machinery in environments that may be loud, dirty, and dusty, primarily inside but occasionally outside in the yard. Efforts are being made to improve temperature conditions with industrial heaters and building modifications. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millville, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
