Business Function Design Architect

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Business Function Design Architect for a Contract position with a client in Folsom, NJ. The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for designing and optimizing business processes, defining KPIs, and leading cross‑functional efforts to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Rate Range: $80/hour to $84/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Function Design Architect job responsibilities include:

• Design and innovate business function processes aligned with organizational goals and operational needs.

• Define process characteristics, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business effectiveness.

• Work closely with business process owners to develop process blueprints and functional requirements.

• Lead the development and refinement of business process and functional design documentation.

• Ensure all business, functional, and design requirements are met through participation in quality management reviews.

• Educate and guide stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and adoption of designed solutions.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Field Service implementations and enhancements.

• Lead and collaborate with multiple teams, taking responsibility for team‑level and cross‑team decisions.

• Provide solutions to complex issues impacting multiple teams and business functions.

• Analyze KPIs and operational data to assess performance and recommend optimization strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise field service solutions.

• Proven ability to transform business requirements into scalable, efficient functional designs.

• Experience driving KPI‑based performance improvements.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field).

Pay Details: $80.00 to $84.00 per hour
