Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment in Paterson, NJ. This contract position is for the full school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning needs and challenges
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and intervention services to support students social, emotional, and academic growth
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic student support
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed to enhance outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Strong understanding of educational law and special education processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school setting
