We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and organized front desk environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow within our company.
Responsibilities:• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and detail-oriented manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently and accurately to support smooth operations.
• Address customer inquiries at the front desk, providing clear and helpful information.
• Handle calls using a multi-line phone system, including directing inbound calls to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the reception area to uphold company standards.
• Complete occasional filing tasks as needed, in alignment with the paperless office environment.
• Participate in training sessions to learn company procedures for answering calls and responding to questions.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and managing inbound calls effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Familiarity with basic filing systems, even in a paperless environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific processes and procedures.
