Senior Manager, Digital Delivery

Description & Requirements

Maximus is a seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Delivery . The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and managing Digital delivery projects inclusive of project plan, budget, resources, deliverables, and status reporting.

This role is based out of our Princeton, New Jersey office location and is required to be on-site 3 days per week to collaborate in-person with the team and other leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage the performance of a small team of associates. Set goals and objectives, assist with professional development by providing coaching, identify growth opportunities.

- Responsible for leading engagements from late stage opportunities to through successful delivery in terms of scope, deliverables, budget, commercial commitments, customer expectations, and achievement of desired outcomes.

- Responsible for managing a portfolio of work related to various digital solutions including but not limited to Web, Mobile, Social, RPA, AI, ML, and Advanced Analytics solutions within one or more field operations.

- Interact with internal stakeholders both within and outside of immediate team to achieve results and drive and execution vision and goals of the team.

- Interact with internal and external customers.

- Provide issues/risks identification and resolution.

- Develop detailed project schedules coordinating multiple parties to deliver projects on time or early and at or under budget.

- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study required.

- 7-10 years related experience required.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

- Technical Project Management including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource management.

- Experience effectively managing a team of both direct and dotted-line reports.

- Experience in solution design including RFP analysis, crafting resource models, project schedules, documenting assumptions, risks and risk mitigations, and preparing presentations for Digital leadership review.

- Outstanding written and oral communication.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- PMP or related Certification

- Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma and related Certification

Pay Transparency


Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
