Forklift Operator

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Secaucus, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM

Pay Rate:

• $18 / hour 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely loading and unloading materials using various types of forklifts. This role is responsible for efficiently moving products throughout the facility while maintaining accuracy, organization, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
• Transport products to designated locations within the warehouse or facility
• Ensure materials are handled safely to prevent damage or loss
• Inspect loads for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages
• Maintain proper organization of inventory and staging areas
• Perform basic equipment checks and report any mechanical issues
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience operating forklifts required
• Ability to safely operate different types of forklift equipment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
