Distribution Sales Professional - Technical Products

Full Job Description:

Dartronics, Inc. is seeking a motivated and technically-minded Distribution Sales professional to support our growing sales and distribution team. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and an interest in technical products. You’ll play a vital role in supporting sales operations, managing distribution logistics, and ensuring our customers and partners receive accurate and timely support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Sales and Distribution teams with order processing, product configuration, and technical documentation.
• Communicate with customers, integrators, and resellers, providing clear product information and technical assistance.
• Maintain accurate customer and order data within CRM (ACT) and ERP systems.
• Follow up on sales leads from trade shows, marketing campaigns, and technical inquiries.
• Assist with the preparation of quotes, order confirmations, and proposals.
• Work alongside engineering and technical support to ensure customer needs are addressed accurately.
• Conduct outbound calls to strengthen relationships with customers and distribution partners.
• Collaborate with marketing to support product promotions and distributor communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Basic technical knowledge or experience with mechanical, electronic, or industrial products.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with CRM tools (ACT preferred) for managing sales activities.
• Comfortable with outbound calls and customer follow-up.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both technical teams and non-technical customers.
• Problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot basic product questions.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s Degree required; technical coursework or certification preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in sales, distribution, or technical sales support.
• Exposure to packaging machinery or technical equipment is a plus.
• On-the-job training provided.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $60,000 annually.
