Incoming Quality Team Lead

Staff Management Group is seeking an Incoming Quality Team Lead for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM
• Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:

• $21 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Team Lead to supervise a group of Incoming Quality Inspectors responsible for ensuring the quality of all incoming packaging components and bulk product. This role supports Operations, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Quality processes and ensures all incoming materials meet regulatory standards and internal requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise Incoming Quality Inspectors.
• Train personnel on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Resolve day‑to‑day issues related to packaging components and bulk product.
• Begin investigations into Non‑Conformances and escalate to management when needed.
• Maintain and monitor daily performance KPIs, adjusting as required to meet goals.
• Ensure accurate Incoming Quality records are completed and forwarded to Document Control in a timely manner.
• Verify all packaging components and bulk meet required standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across all functions.
• Strong organizational ability and capacity to prioritize workload.
• Some computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite / Google equivalent).
• Strong written/oral communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Safety, Quality, and Productivity oriented.
