About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at The Pickled Herring as a server, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food and customer service to help us create memorable moments for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables.
- Monitor and refill beverages as needed throughout the dining experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid food handler's permit.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
