Job Description
Candidates for this position can be located in either Florham Park, NJ or Mettawa, IL.
The Associate Director, Migraine Consumer Marketing serves as the patient, brand and product subject matter expert for consumer marketing across the organization. They will work closely with multiple cross-functional teams and own external agency relationships to support key initiatives to drive brand success.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead evolution of brand consumer marketing strategy - including positioning, segmentation, omni channel strategy - to ensure continued alignment against objectives and long-term plan.
- Develop data-driven insights, leveraging internal and external partners and diverse data sources to inform strategic planning and in-market execution
- Lead the development, execution and optimization of marketing tactics, including creative, media planning, and effectiveness metrics.
- Collaborate with external agencies, internal partners, and leadership to build and execute marketing plans aligned to business goals.
- Provide leadership, direction, and development for direct reports and foster positive working relationships while building a collaborative, integrated commercial brand team
- Partner with internal groups (e.g. Public Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Medical and Project Management) to ensure compliance and consistency in approach and messaging.
- Identify and implement new technological and operational capabilities in partnership with the internal Centers of Excellence (COE).
- Support the brand’s annual planning process, representing both DTC and cross-functional brand needs in development, alignment, and presentation to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills.
- Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of consumer marketing experience, prior Pharma and broadcast TV development. experience preferred
- Deep understanding of brand management principles, including positioning, personality & overall campaign development.
- Proven experience developing and executing consumer marketing campaigns across all channels (i.e. TV, Digital, Social, Website, CRM).
- Track record of delivering impactful and timely in-market execution marketing campaigns
- Experience identifying key campaign metrics (KPIs) and utilizing for continuous enhancements and future design/innovation.
- Experience managing multiple external agencies (advertising, media, digital, database) and internal partners.
- Ability to influence at all levels in a highly matrixed organization, including senior management.
- Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
