Sr. Java Developer - Hybrid

**About the role** As **Java Developer** , you will make an impact by developing, writing, testing, and debugging code. As well as designing and implementing new features. You will be a valued member of the Engineering & Cloud Solutions team and work collaboratively with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions. **In this role, you will:** Typical duties includes: · Development -Writing, testing, and debugging code. · Designing and implementing new features. · Participating in planning meetings and technical reviews. · Support deployment. · Manage production issues for resolution. **Work model:** Hybrid. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 - 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered:** · 5+ years of relevant experience. · Strong hands-on experience with JAVA, Spring boot, Openshift. · Hands on Experience in Oracle DB. · Strong hands-on experience on WMQ, AMQ. **These will help you stand out:** · Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. · Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture. · Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
