Outpatient Mental Health Therapist- Bilingual

The Mental health Therapist (LSW/LAC/MSW Intern) provides individual therapy to clients with a variety of mental health diagnosis under clinical supervision of an LCSW. This includes coordinating care with other providers, advocating for clients, and providing education and support to clients and their families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, therapy to clients with a variety of mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each client.
• Conduct assessments of client needs and progress.
• Coordinate care with other providers, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.
• Advocate for clients and their families, as needed.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families.
• Maintain accurate records of client care.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• “Hybrid care delivery: conduct sessions both virtually (telehealth/video) and onsite at our clinic; ability to transition between modalities is required.”

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.
• Licensed clinical social worker (LSW) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience providing mental health services.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong clinical skills and judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
