Survey Technician – Civil Engineering
Location: Warren, NJ (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $30.00–$35.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Overview:
Yoh is seeking a skilled Survey Technician to support and oversee survey operations for our Civil Engineering client in Warren, NJ. This is a direct hire opportunity ideal for candidates with 5+ years of surveying experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare deed and reference maps to accurately represent survey data.
• Organize and configure survey data for efficient field operations.
• Process and convert post-survey data for project completion.
• Perform construction layout calculations, as-built surveys, and sketches.
• Generate grade sheets and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.
• Conduct topographic analyses and draft Metes & Bounds descriptions.
• Create FEMA Elevation Certificates and Subdivision/Lot Consolidation Plans.
• Mentor CAD Drafters and ensure adherence to drafting standards.
• Collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Develop mapping solutions using data collector files, sketches, and reference maps.
• Ensure accuracy in plan presentation and survey traverse adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional surveying experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to produce clean, accurate plan presentations.
• Solid understanding of field survey operations and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.

Estimated Min Rate: $60000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $70000.00
