Production Lead for a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include training and directing individuals who are performing manufacturing and packaging factory work positions.

This is a hands-on position with responsibility and accountability for daily production flow and bottom line results.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on production lead person with experience working in fast paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; both oral and written.

• Able to work well with others and participate as part of a team.

• Supervise and coordinate day to day activities of production personnel.

• Instruct workers and monitor accuracy and performance.

• Assist with special projects and process improvements as assigned.

• Completes production plan by scheduling work centers; assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems;

• Ensure efficient and accurate line changes.

• Monitor and report daily production metrics.

• Maintain and improve levels of quality and efficiency.

• Monitor Safety and assure safe working conditions and habits.

• Communicate expectations to employees in all areas of the plant.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in in a lead or supervisory manufacturing role.

• Bilingual English / Spanish required.

• Ability to read, write and speak English is required.

• Proficient in MS Office suite preferred

• Experience with ERP usage and transactions preferred
