Akkodis is seeking a Java Reactive Programmer for a Contract with a client in Basking Ridge, NJ. Candidates must have strong hands‑on reactive programming expertise while developing microservices and implementing RESTful, event‑driven architectures .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Reactive Programmer job responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain high‑performance reactive applications using Java, Spring Boot, and WebFlux.

  • Build and enhance microservices architectures, including RESTful APIs and event‑driven components.

  • Work with Oracle databases and XML/XSLT technologies to support backend integrations and data transformations.

  • Utilize DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Jira to support CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement cloud‑ready, containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Optimize application performance and reliability while supporting telecom‑domain use cases and backend workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Java development, reactive programming, and microservices architecture.

  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, WebFlux, and microservices with proven experience in telecom networking domain.

  • Mandatory experience with Oracle Database along with working knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
