The Role
As a Weekend Overnight High Reach Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ products are received, stored, picked, and shipped safely and accurately. RLS provides the tools, training, and support needed to become a cold chain expert.

Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 5:00 PM – approximately 5:30 AM

Training Period: New hires should expect to train on the weekend day shift for up to 30 days prior to transitioning to the overnight schedule.

Important Note on Hours: While the shift begins at 5:00 PM, this role does not have a set end time. Our team works until the day's operations are complete. Candidates must be comfortable with variable end times and should plan accordingly. We value team members who take ownership of seeing the work through to completion.

Core Responsibilities
High Reach Forklift Operators are a key component of the customer experience and are responsible for handling product safely and accurately in accordance with RLS standard operating procedures.

Day-to-Day Duties
• Operate high reach (ESR) forklifts and other powered industrial trucks
• Count freight received and shipped
• Verify counts against drivers’ Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Identify and document count variances and obtain required driver signatures
• Prepare overage, shortage, and damage reports
• Select and stage outbound product for shipment
• Meet performance metrics established by the Warehouse Manager
• Pallet wrapping is a significant part of the role

Must-Have Requirements
• Previous high reach (ESR) forklift experience required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Willingness to work in cold storage conditions
