Overview:

An independent pharmacy with a strong focus on patient care and adherence located in Wayne, NJ.

We are seeking experienced, organized, and detail-oriented people to join our staff. We are hiring for FT/PT Pharmacists. The qualified candidate must be able to work in a team and multi-task as this is a fast-pace learning environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Screens prescriptions for accuracy, contraindications and drug interactions
• Ensures the quality and safe preparation of medications
• Provides counseling to patients on safe medication use
• Maintains inventory levels within acceptable standards
• Ensures compliance with pharmacy federal laws, state laws and the standards of practice
• Manages and provides guidance to pharmacy support staff
• Facilitates a ‘team’ culture by promoting a caring attitude, energy, enthusiasm, pride and motivation towards staff and patients
• Prepare PCR/rapid COVID tests
• Immunizations including Covid-19

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts
• Weekends

COVID-19 precautions:

• Personal protective equipment provided or required
• Plastic shield at work stations
• Temperature screenings
• Social distancing guidelines in place
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Education:

• Doctorate (Preferred)

License/Certification:
