Quality and Compliance Trainer Consultant
We are seeking independent Quality and Compliance Trainers who can support a broad range of life science training needs. This includes annual Good Manufacturing Practice training, customized client specific programs, onboarding training, and ad hoc learning initiatives that strengthen overall organizational readiness. This opportunity is designed for experienced individuals who currently operate as 1099 consultants and who may also be open to full time employment as project demand increases. Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
• Deliver high quality training across core areas of Quality and Compliance within the life science industry.
• Conduct annual Good Manufacturing Practice training for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and related organizations.
• Facilitate onboarding training for new hires across Quality, Operations, Engineering, and other regulated functions.
• Provide both virtual and in person training with a strong focus on clarity, engagement, and regulatory alignment. Training Development and Customization
• Create new training content tailored to each client’s procedures, systems, workflows, maturity, and risk profile.
• Update and refine existing programs to meet current regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
• Develop micro learning modules, scenario based exercises, and practical case studies to strengthen comprehension.
• Maintain training materials in a clear, organized manner that supports audit readiness. Quality and Compliance Expertise
• Apply strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, cGMP principles, quality systems, data integrity expectations, and inspection readiness fundamentals.
• Ensure all training materials support compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
• Work with client leaders to identify capability gaps and provide recommendations for targeted training solutions. Innovative and Engaging Instruction
• Introduce modern adult learning techniques that improve retention and application.
• Adapt delivery style to diverse audiences that may include shop floor operators, quality assurance professionals, scientists, engineers, and leadership teams.
• Demonstrate creativity, organization, and consistent professionalism in all client interactions. Qualifications
• Strong background in Quality, Compliance, Validation, Operations, or related functions within the life science industry.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training in regulated environments.
• Experience creating customized content for a range of client needs.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills across in person and virtual settings.
• Ability to work independently in client facing roles with a high degree of reliability and discretion.
• Current status as a 1099 independent consultant.
• Interest in potential future full time employment as project volume increases. Engagement Structure
• This is a consulting opportunity for independent trainers who want ongoing project work and who may also be open to eventual full time employment.
• Work may include short term projects, recurring annual training, onboarding cycles, system specific training, and full program development.
• Hours, Rate and Scope will vary based on client and project needs.
