We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer specialized in PLC Automation Control Systems to join our team in the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing industry.

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time mostly within the Eastern U.S. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, programming, and maintenance of PLC-based automation systems that are critical to our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into our production line. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, providing technical support for clients, and delivering training sessions to staff on system operations. The role demands a strong understanding of automation technologies and a commitment to adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Install PLC automation control systems at customer sites.
• Program and configure PLCs to meet project specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems in the field.
• Provide technical support to customers and clients regarding automation systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design effective automation solutions.
• Conduct training sessions for clients and internal personnel on system functionalities.
• Document system configurations, modifications, and repairs accurately.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices during all field operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and automation systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text.
• Experience with major PLC brands such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electronic control systems and hardware.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required for on-site support and installations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
