Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state (New Jersey nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new healthcare environments and protocols

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
