ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Wantage Veterinary Hospital is a small animal hospital located in beautiful Sussex County, New Jersey. This independently owned practice was founded twenty years ago by Dr. Karen Bullock (Penn '96). With over thirty years of experience, Dr. Bullock continues to genuinely enjoy practicing veterinary medicine and is excited not only to share her pearls of practice with a new associate, but also to learn from and collaborate with them.

ABOUT THE AREA

Our hospital is located in scenic Sussex County, New Jersey; an area many people are pleasantly surprised to discover. Sussex County offers beautiful rolling hills and mountain views, abundant hiking opportunities, skiing and snowboarding, countless lakes and an extensive network of rail trails perfect for hiking, horseback riding, or cross-country skiing. The area provides easy access to outdoor recreation while remaining conveniently located approximately one hour and twenty minutes from New York City with close proximity to both the NY Catskills and the Poconos in PA.

PAY DETAILS

Pro Sal pay formula with base pay starting at 135K to 150K depending on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Looking for an individual with strong and expanding surgery skills, excellent bedside manner, a deep love of animal medicine, and a highly collaborative team mindset. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in a small animal practice. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude who appreciates laughing, having fun, and being a part of a team that truly enjoys working together.
