Job Description:

Oxford Consulting Services is currently hiring for part time Occupational Therapists (OT) to provide in home/ group home Occupational Therapy services for adults with Disabilities through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). We currently have cases available throughout New Jersey!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to individuals aged 21 and above in Group homes, Nursing homes, and Private residences
• Address client’s progress and engagement in occupations that affect client’s health, well-being and living quality
• Determine and implement the client’s treatment methodology, as well as guidance in interventions
• Perform therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs.
• Educate clients on better practices of approaching tasks and provide mentorship on how to work towards small goals.
• Provide proper care and instruction to family members and caregivers
• Oversight, data collection and correction on client progress towards long- and short-term treatment markers
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding clients and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapy License
• MS degree or greater in Occupational Therapy
• 2 years working experience as a Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with Adults and Geriatrics
• Excellent organizational skills and great attention to details
• Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping clients achieve their true potential
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
