Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, acute care, or hospital nursing jobs
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent required)
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry monitoring, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status in a clinical setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
